Ms. Carsley has been an instructor for the Carnegie Institute, National
Science Foundation Summer Teachers Institute, the Humboldt Biological
Research Institute and the College of Southern Maryland.
Currently, she is a regular visiting instructor at the United States Botanic
Garden for the Corcoran School of Arts’ Botanical Illustration Certificate
Program.
She enjoys providing workshops and classes on field sketching and
illustration techniques to the scientific and teaching communities as well
as, adults and children with a passion for art and nature.
Private instruction in drawing and watercolor are also available.
